| Kangaroos are marsupials, which are animals whose babies are born immature and mature in a pouch on the mother's stomach. A female kangaroo is called a doe, a flyer or a jill. Male kangaroos are called bucks, jacks or old men. Baby kangaroos are called joeys. Kangaroos have long legs that a very powerful. They are built for jumping! they have long, muscular tails which help them balance. Kangaroos also have small heads. But that doesn't meant that they aren't smart, it's just the way they developed. |
