When you volunteer for Friendship Circle, both sides benefit.
The child has something to
look forward to every week, a friend. They will get to play and learn from their older friend.
The volunteer learns several life lessons, such as giving, responsibility and others. He or
she also experiences bringing a smile to a child’s face. Through that one hour a week after
school, or two hours Sunday Morning, the volunteer forms a special bond with the child, that
they have with no other friends.
