Pets are like adopting a small child. They're being taken from the environment that they're comfortable with and being thrust into the unknown, a place they don't want to be at first. It's important to help make the transition from store to home as smoothe as possible.It's always helpful to have the basic necessities set up and ready at home, waiting for the new addition's arrival. Some basics are:
- Cage
- food
- food bowls
- toys
- blanket
- leash
And it's always nice to give your new pet a treat or two.
