1. When writing try to keep constant writing times, every day from X time to Y time. Even if it's only for twenty minutes! Try to keep it constant!
2.After you write a good chunk (without editing), read it over once to get the quirks out and make shure it make sence.Don't look at it for a week or so, after that amount of time you should be abel to see it diffrently and more citticaly than before and catch diffrent mistakes.
3. NEVER! I MEAN NNEEVVER! THROW AWAY ANY IDEAS, SCRIBBLES, BLURBS ETC.You never know if it will come in handy later.
4.Research, you may think you know all there is to know on a topic but i guarantee you don't. Go online, watch videos or go to your local library to find out more on the subjext. From my own experience: if your not intrested in reading a thick wordy book on knights than take out research books forchildren because they have more pictures, diagrams and are easy to read quickley and comprehend!
5.Do not stop to correct grammatical errors or edit meanwhile writing! This will stop your flow and will inturrupt your though process. "if you worry about spelling, grammer, or how to sell your book while you write, you are writing with a dull pencil." - Writershelper.com
6.All editing can wait till you finish your novel!
